  • To make the most of your session, please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated – we have a fountain on-site for easy refills – and wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely. For our Centergy, Pilates, Yin & Tonic, and TRX Yoga classes, we recommend bringing a pair of sticky socks to help with grip and stability. One essential for everyone is a CLEAN change of trainers specifically for working out; this keeps our studio clean, safe, and ready for you to enjoy. If you forget anything, our team is always happy to help you get settled and ready to move!

  • Absolutely! At Amovida, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone, no matter their fitness background. If you’re new to exercise or have never set foot in a gym before, you’ll feel right at home here. Our friendly trainers will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable, confident, and capable. Our classes and sessions are designed to suit all abilities, and you can go at your own pace without any pressure.

  • We recommend arriving 15 minutes early. This gives you time to park, change if needed, hang up your coat and change your shoes. Your trainer will be on hand to guide you through anything you need to know.

    Please note: For group classes and small group PT, we kindly ask that you check in at least 10 minutes before the session starts. This helps us ensure everyone’s safety and maintain the flow of the class. If you arrive later, we’ll need to reschedule your session.

  • Yes, you can freeze your membership for up 1 week on a 3-month subscription or up to 1 month on a 12-month subscription. To arrange this, we kindly ask for at least 30 days’ notice to allow time for the necessary admin. Your membership will be extended by 1 week/month to account for the pause. Additionally, we include 1 week of trainer leave per 3-month period, or 4 weeks annually. Please note that all memberships and class packages are non-refundable.

  • We only allow cancelation of a subscription due to medical reasons or due to relocation. For medical conditions or severe accident we require a doctor’s letter detailing the condition or injury.

    If you relocate more than 10 miles away, we will cancel your upcoming month's subscription upon receiving proof of your new address.

  • Not at all! At Amovida, we firmly believe that fitness is for everyone, no matter your age, size or ability. Many of our members are in their 50s, 60s, and beyond. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment where you can move at your own pace and feel completely comfortable. Our experienced instructors adapt exercises to suit all abilities, ensuring everyone feels included and capable. Whether you’re new to exercise or returning to it, you’re never too old to feel fitter, stronger, and part of a friendly community.

  • Yes, you can! Sharing your Amovida experience with family is a wonderful way to stay motivated and enjoy fitness together. We allow family sharing of memberships and class packs, which can easily be set up through your member dashboard. It’s simple, flexible, and a great way to make the most of your membership. Fitness is always better when shared, and we love seeing families enjoying their wellness journey together at Amovida!
